The final round of the 7 week Sunday Spring Match Play competition was held yesterday at Victoria. Huntingdale was sitting top of the ladder and needed a win to hold that position. Our team put up a great fight against Kingston Heath but it ended being a Halved match. This put our team 2nd behind Peninsula-Kingswood, both teams on 5.5 Points but Huntingdale 2 games less over the season.
The 19 Huntingdale women who participated in the competition, many of whom are still working, played some fantastic golf. Yesterday’s winners were Louise Cameron 5/3 and Libby Priddle 5/4 with halved matches to Lynne Smith and Sophie Pick. Great camaraderie amongst all our players, many whom had their first experience of Interclub Match Play. All are now looking forward to the 2025 season.
