The Huntingdale Senior Amateur tournament was contested on Thursday 11th August with 71 players participating.
The threatening skies held off thankfully and all players were able to complete their rounds prior to the afternoon rain.
The course was in great condition and proved to be a challenge to all with Livi Ianu the best of the Men with a seven over par 79.
Rodney Ware also broke 80 to post the same score and was defeated on a countback.
The Women’s Stableford Scratch competition was claimed by Linda Gyzen who posted a round of 22 points while the Stableford Handicap event was won by Prue Gifford-Ellis with a impressive round of 35 points off a 23 handicap.
The Men’s handicap event winner was Gary House with a round of Nett 77 which was good enough for a count back win over Greg Toma also on Nett 77. (Livi Ianu posted an excellent Nett 74 but had won the Gross event and a player may win only one event)
